Nexus PLM is a product lifecycle management platform built by Marc Jeeves. It is made for engineering teams who need real control over parts, documents and change — revisions, lifecycle states, approvals, an audit trail — without the cost and implementation weight that traditional enterprise PLM brings with it.

The platform is in active development. Rather than build in isolation and launch at a wall, I am talking to engineering teams while it is still taking shape: what you use now, what is painful about it, and what would have to be true for you to switch.
